RMA confirms what many know -- cable problems are back

It's baaaack. The Rancho Murieta Association on Wednesday confirmed what many residents on the North already know -- the cable problem that was thought to be fixed last week is still with us.

Breast cancer fundraising events planned

Local groups are planning fundraising activities for October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

There will be a community events Oct. 5 and 20, and the Country Club is hosting the ninth annual golf tournament benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Oct. 14.

Back-to-school events coming up

Cosumnes River Elementary School is marking the start of the school year with a couple of events in the coming week. There's more about each in the CRES PTA area of RM.com. The events:

RMA says North cable problem is fixed

The intermittent cable problem affecting broadband and cable TV service in parts of Murieta North has been solved, Rancho Murieta Association General Manager David Stiffler said Friday.
