EGUSD Transportation 2010-2011
Posted December 1, 2009 by Brooke WarrenAs I am sure you aware, Elk Grove Unified School District is faced with making millions of dollars of budget cuts for the 2010/2011 school year. There are many difficult decisions to make that will effect students, families and employees. One of the proposed cuts is to discontinue school bussing to secondary schools. Currently, students are required to purchase a bus pass which allows one-way or round trip rides. Read more »
RE: Open Garage Doors
Posted October 1, 2009 by Jude GaitherIf there are concerns about the unsightliness of open garage doors, it is completely misguided. Please turn your attention to the number of cars and trucks routinely parked in driveways. That is a complete disregard of the CC&R's and extremely unsightly. In my opinion, this is where enforcement is much needed.

A Bit About Judy Musgrove - Running for RMA Board
Posted September 17, 2009 by Judy MusgroveMy dear cousin, Carol Lacabonne - introduced me to this community in 2001. I was taken with the beautiful lakes, the peacefulness of the entire area, the wild life and the ambience that I felt.
My first job was for Office Advocates, Pat Alexander at the FAA building. I also rented a town home here on Domingo Ct. and now, we are owners of this fine place - but we rented for 6 years before we were able to purchase. Pat and Barry Goulker were our landlords and we couldn't have asked for nicer more caring people then those two. Read more »

Posted September 13, 2009 by Janelle AtwellRafi at Elements Day Spa is the BEST! I have come across many massage therapists and not one has come close to Rafi's hands and ability to get out every kink and painful ache in your body. Highly Recommended.

Cable Expenses: A More Detailed Explanation
Posted September 12, 2009 by Vicky LentzQuestion: Should cable's expenses be shared by the entire membership or just its users? What are the risks of each approach?
The expenses of ALL of RMA’s obligations should be shared by the entire membership and included in the Regular Assessment. This includes Basic Cable Television Expenses. The Davis-Stirling Act requires RMA to levy regular and special assessments sufficient to perform its obligations.

Stonehouse Bistro
Posted September 9, 2009 by Geoffrey KennedyHave just come home from a dreadful visit, with out of town friends, to Stonehouse Bistro. The appetizer never appeared and eventually we were told the Calamari was "off". Our guest's meal was so undercooked as to be inedible and when it was finally served the rest of us had finished our meals. We, residents of RM North, will not return to Stonehouse Bistro. An awful experience and will tell our friends to be cautious about dining there.

north entry gate
Posted August 27, 2009 by James Mildeshaving lived here for 18 years, I have been looking forward to a more refreshing entry gate. It sill reminds me of the entry gate to Fort Ord, Ca, where I did my basic training 40 years ago. Not really in keeping with this upscale community.
