Taking a step to address the problem of midge flies at Laguna Joaquin, the Rancho Murieta Association board Tuesday night approved the purchase of five pumps, for $31,368, to oxygenate the water, despite concerns that it's doing the work of the Community Services District. Developers get wish lists from community reps

Rancher Stan Van Vleck asked that developers consider eliminating a chunk of their plans or building a large fence to help protect his property from trespassers.

Requests to eliminate almost half of the new homes proposed for Rancho Murieta North, or to build a sizable fence along the community’s eastern edge, were among the suggestions at the fourth county meeting on Rancho Murieta North development.
