Elk Grove Schools Superintendent to speak at Rotary Club meeting
Dr. Steven Ladd, superintendent of the Elk Grove Unified School District will be the guest speaker at the Rancho Murieta Rotary Club Wed. Aug. 17, 2011 in the board room of the Country Club.
Dr Ladd is the fifth superintendent since the district formed in 1959. He brings years of experience and a commitment to educational leadership that includes administrative positions in Florida, Oregon and California. At Elk Grove Unified, Ladd continues his legacy of academic success and community involvement matched with fiscal responsibility.
Dr. Ladd will speak to the club and guests at 7 p.m. about the challenges that affect the district in the years ahead how budgets and impact every facet of school and district operations.
“I applaud all that everyone does to continue to support our students,” said Dr. Ladd on the district website. “We will continue to face this time with a commitment to our mission of providing a learning community that challenges all students to realize their greatest potential.”
