Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, or RYLA, is a training program for future leaders who are currently Juniors in High School. As a RYLA participant, you will attend an all-expense-paid 6-day camp at the Grizzly Creek Ranch, in Portola, CA. These 100 talented young people will spend this week in challenging discussion programs, inspirational addresses, leadership training, and social activities, all designed to enhance personal development, leadership skills, and good citizenship. For students hoping to pursue their studies, this is a tremendous opportunity to prepare for life’s challenges and college. Over the years, all participants have emphasized that this life-changing opportunity was beyond their dreams and truly helped prepare them for future leadership roles as well as life in general.

This year we have two scholarships available for high school students (must be a junior this year) who reside in Rancho Murieta.

Deadline approaching

Scholarships will be offered to other teens in Sacramento and surrounding communities after this week.  We hope local RM high school juniors will submit an application before deadline.

Please note there is a typo on the application name as it should read 2017 and not 2015.  Sorry for any confusion.

Thank you!
