Have you ever really wondered what to do with those herbs that look so cute in your garden, but somehow never really make it into your kitchen? Well, wonder no more; the answer will be shared at the River Valley Garden Club's March 28 meeting.

Guest speaker Chef Johnny, Executive Chef of the Rancho Murieta Country Club, will share how to spice up your lives and food using herbs.  This program will also include how to properly harvest and store herbs to achieve optimum flavor.

A graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, Chef Johnny has worked at several high-profile properties before coming to Rancho Murieta, including the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, and the Sheraton Grand and Lionsgate Hotels in Sacramento.

The River Valley Garden Club is open to residents of Rancho Murieta, Sloughhouse, Wilton and nearby communities.  Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of the month at the RMA Building, Rancho Murieta North.  Just tell the Front Gate you are here for the meeting.  Refreshments at 6:30pm; meeting at 7pm.
