The guest speaker at this Wednesday's Rotary meeting is Larry Gage, retired Chief of Operations Control for the CA Dept of Water Resources. Larry will be talking about the history of water rights and delivery and the impact on those rights and delivery  by both the current drought and by the proposed tunnel/pumping system in Tracy. 

The public is welcome with no obligation of any kind. Come and hear first hand the State water policy and waht every community and individual can do during challenging water shortages.

The Department of Water Resources (DWR) is responsible for managing and protecting California’s water. DWR works with other agencies to benefit the state’s people, and to protect, restore and enhance the natural and human environments.
