The holiday season in Rancho Murieta officially began Friday with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Gazebo and the lighting of the community Christmas tree. It was a first visit with Santa for Blair Foster, 3. Her brother Mitchell, 6, was with her. The annual event was put on by Murieta Activities and the Optimist Club.
Students from the Premier Dance Academy put on a show at the Gazebo, and parents were at the ready with their cameras to capture every magical moment.
Five-year-old Serena Benjamin's dad, David, caught the moment.
Natalie Quilala, 4, was among those who visited with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
And so did 4-year-old Olivia Reed.
As part of the evening's fun, the trees were lighted at the North Gate and on Lookout Hill.
