Country Club events
Rancho Murieta Country Club offers entertainment for its members and their guests every Friday and Saturday night the 19th Hole. With our popular Jazz Supper Club once a month, the room is transformed back to the days of fine food, spirits, and sounds. Special events are held in the Murieta Room, including the very popular Cinco De Mayo dance, a Country and Western dance, and numerous holiday parties.
There is something for everyone, so please come in and enjoy!

Meet 'The Pauper Who Helped Save a President'
Published May 21, 2010Ready to get an evening of real and little known history?
LCDR Ted Robinson, USNR, the service person who rescued John F. Kennedy after his PT109 was sunk in World War II, will share his story and insight about the young John F. Kennedy at the Rotary meeting 7 pm Wednesday at the Country Club.
Robinson has written "Water in My Veins: The Pauper Who Helped Save a President," his account of rescuing Kennedy and sharing a tent with the future president. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
This special event is being staged by the Rotary and the Country Club. There is no charge, but reservations are required to assist in planning. Please call Cheryl at 354-3400 for reservations.
Country Club invites residents, guests on U.S. Open road trip
Published May 19, 2010The Rancho Murieta Country Club invites residents and their guests on a bus trip to the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach Friday, June 18. The $175 cost of the trip includes admission to the golfing event. The bus leaves from the lower parking lot at the club at 6:30 a.m. and returns at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Country Club invites everyone for Easter brunch
Published April 2, 2010If you're making last-minute plans, the Rancho Murieta Country Club invites all residents and their visiting families to Easter Sunday brunch at the club from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Foods include breakfast fare like omelets, pancakes and fruit as well as carved prime rib, glazed ham, salads, an assortment of breads and a dessert buffet. Children can visit with the Easter Bunny and stop off at the cookie decorating station.
The cost for club members is $29.95 for adults and $14.95 for children. For non-members, the cost is $35.95 for adults and $16.95 for children. There's no charge for children under the age of 6. Prices do not include tax or a service charge.
Call Cheryl at 354-3400 for reservations. Reservations are being taken for every half hour.
What are the odds? Prospector tourney has four holes-in-one in a day
Published September 18, 2009In 1999, Golf Digest reported “One insurance company puts a PGA Tour Pro’s chances at a hole in one at 1 in 3,756 and an amateur at 1 in 12,750.”
What do you think the odds are of four holes in one at the same facility in one day? Well, that’s what happened at the Country Club during the first round of the Men’s Club Prospector Invitational on Thursday!
Three aces were recorded on the North Course – Country Club member Jeff Frost on Hole #2, guest Norm Sells and member Jim Tilton both on Hole #16. The fourth ace took place on #7 of the South Course by member Alan Albers.
There was even a hole in one in the practice round on Wednesday – guest Steve Baker on #15 South. Read more »
