Growth Oriented Adapted Learning Skills (GOALS), a non–profit organization designed to assist the developmentally disabled population, holds its second annual nine-hole scramble golf tournament Saturday, Aug. 11, at Emerald Lakes Golf Course, 10651 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove.
The day of fun begins at 7:30 a.m. when two four-man teams tee off at each of the nine holes, and it concludes with a luncheon at the clubhouse for a total cost of $60 a golfer. Non-participants can lunch for $20. Businesses are eligible to sponsor a hole for $1,000.
