Coat Dinner

It may have been damp and rainy outside, but it was warm and friendly inside for the annual Coat Dinner held at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church Friday night. Organizers said this was the 14th year that coats, jackets and sleeping bags were exchanged for a chili dinner among friends and neighbors. This year’s donations help families in Weed, Ore., where 100 homes were lost in a wildfire, and the homeless population served by Loaves and Fishes in Sacramento.
