Summerfest’s food trucks, which have become a summertime Sunday-dinner option this year, will be part of the upcoming Summerfest carnival, Sept. 9 and 10 at Stonehouse Park. Summerfest, a nonprofit volunteer organization that raises funds for Rancho Murieta projects, still has sponsorship opportunities available.
The Summerfest weekend begins Thursday, Sept. 8, with the Sponsor Night Wine & Food Gala, featuring a range of foods and wines. While the event is a thank-you for sponsors, any group can buy a table for eight for $800. (After dinner, you get a chance to preview the carnival rides.)
There’s more information on sponsorship here. Daily admission is $25; it's $35 for both days.
Friday’s carnival runs from 5 to 11 p.m . Uplifted will bring its positive music to the stage at 6:30 p.m., followed by Apple Z, a rock/dance band, at 8 p.m. The food trucks that night are Jimboy’s, Happy Cow and Grand BBQ.
