The annual Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt took over Stonehouse Park Saturday afternoon with pony rides, face painting, a petting zoo, fingerprinting, a police dog, bake sale, barbecue, and three fields of Easter eggs for hundreds of children to scoop up. Aidie Smith, 4, got a good view of the fields before the hunt began, thanks to a boost from dad Logan. The hunts occurred almost simultaneously because of confusion over which field opened first, and there were plenty of eggs to go around, thanks to Rancho Murieta Moms Group volunteers who stuffed thousands of plastic eggs with treats.
