Pride and Joy

Pride & Joy has been a popular Bay Area party band for 25 years.

A band that takes its name from a Marvin Gaye song should deliver a certain kind of music, right? Pride & Joy, performing 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Lake Clementia Amphitheater, does not disappoint.

Pride & Joy, one of the Bay Area’s most popular bands for 25 years, focuses on Motown but also mixes in '70s, '80s and '90s pop dance favorites. Some of the hits you might hear at a Pride & Joy show include "Respect," "Ain't Too Proud To Beg," "Brick House," "Love Roller Coaster," "Me and Mrs. Jones," "I Heard It Through the Grapevine," "Soul Man" and many more.

Tickets can be purchased at the Business Center, The Local Bean or at the door. They're $20 for ETC members, $30 for non-members. There's more information about ETC here.
