[Updated 2:26 p.m.] A neighbor driving Scott Road late Friday morning said the road is flooded in spots that aren't the usual flood areas. "There are new places that I haven't seen flood before," Damon Mercado reported around noon. He said there are "Road Closed Due to Flooding" signs deployed in places, including at Latrobe and Scott roads, just north of Rancho Murieta.
A stretch of White Rock Road is closed too, Mercado said.
At 2 p.m., the county's creek-level sensor said Deer Creek was in the "Monitor" stage at the Scott Road crossing and inching toward "Flooded."
After 2 p.m., neighbor Cynthia Harris Rosebrock posted on Facebook, "Just drove from Folsom to Murieta no problems. The signs are still up at Latrobe and Scott Road though."
We have requested information from the county. If you have driven the road Friday, please post here to share whatever you saw.
