I'm Too Sexy

"I'm Too Sexy" was the music for Steve Lacey's turn modeling an apron at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church's Mother's Day tea.  It was a charity fundraiser.  (Inside you'll find a slide show of other men in a similar predicament.)

Every mom was Queen Mum for a day at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church's Mother's Day community tea Sunday afternoon as dads donned aprons and served dainty tea sandwiches and cakes. Ham wasn't on the menu, but there was plenty of Rancho Murieta's finest on the runway as dads and kids modeled aprons for the charity auction.

They cavorted and strutted to "Stayin' Alive," "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," "I'm Too Sexy" and other get-up-and-dance songs, including, of course, "YMCA." The audience waved their bid paddles with abandon to win aprons with bids of more than $100.

Volunteers produced the fundraiser to benefit Wellspring Women's Center. The director of Wellspring, Yolanda Torrecillas, attended the tea and told the group about the center, which serves low-income women and their children in the Oak Park section of Sacramento.

Here's a slide show look at the event.

Great slide show

So sorry I missed this event. It looks like it was great fun. Thank you for the slide presentation. Watching it, with my morning cup of coffee, made my day.  :)
