Wienermobile

License plateSeven-year-old Julia Garcia wasn't the only person to take a photo of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile during its Sunday stop at Murieta Plaza, but she might have been the youngest. It was quite an attraction, with people slamming on their car brakes, drawn by some unseen force to the wheeled wiener, where, we swear, some of them sang Oscar Mayer commercial jingles. (Because you asked, the vehicle is 27 feet long, 11 feet high and weighs seven tons.) At the lunch hour, the Murieta Market by Raley's people, being good hosts, wheeled out a bunch of hotdogs for everyone's enjoyment. At the star attraction they were handing out Wienermobile whistles and postcards. Click photos for larger images
