A woman fighting cancer needs the community's help

A small group of people working for months to help a neighbor is now reaching out to the community to help the woman, a young mother of three who is battling cancer.

St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church parishioners and others came to the aid of Doreen Ntale after she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in January.

Since her diagnosis, Ntale has undergone three surgeries, her husband has left the family, and she's lost her home, say group members.  Ntale, her children and her mother now live in a rental home on the South that a local realtor located for them, and a fund has been established to help the family meet its financial needs.  Contributions can be made to the Doreen Ntale Family Fund at El Dorado Savings Bank in Murieta Plaza.
