Schedule for street work on Puerto Drive

Puerto Drive – from Guadalupe Drive on the south end to the Del Cerro Drive stub street on the north end – will see street resurfacing later this month, according to a plan the Rancho Murieta Association released Wednesday. Spray park hours for rest of the summer

With summer settling in, it's a good time to share the Summerfest Spray Park's hours for the rest of the summer, as announced Monday by the Rancho Murieta Association:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 2 to 7 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Sundays: noon to 6 p.m.

Special spray park hours for holiday week

Spray parkThe Rancho Murieta Association announced special spray park hours coming up in the next week: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (when it's supposed to be hot), and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. When will the community open the gate at Escuela Drive and Stonehouse Road? Bigger question: Should the gate be staffed by Security personnel, like the North and South gates, or be a passive gate, with no officer on site? Better communication stressed by RMA board

The Rancho Murieta Association board took a step into the communications present and future at Tuesday's meeting, unanimously approving changes in the RMA’s code of conduct to address the realities of social media. The board also addressed midge fly treatments at Laguna Joaquin, the plan to charge Murieta Village residents who want to use RMA facilities and recent TV problems with Greenfield Communications. Plans for Rancho Murieta's July 4 celebration

The Rancho Murieta Association on Thursday announced details for the community's July 4 celebration, Rancho Murieta's biggest event of the year. Much of the schedule is similar to past celebrations, but there's one change to note: The Kiwanis' pancake breakfast will be held at Stonehouse Park instead of the Gazebo. As always, you're encouraged to pick up guest passes in advance and get them to your guests to help traffic at the gates. A movie night for the whole family

Many kids were bundled up for Saturday night's Movie Night, staged by the Rancho Murieta Association. It was a family-friendly gathering that drew between 150 and 200 people to a pleasantly brisk Lake Clementia Amphitheater. Pre-movie, the adults socialized as the kids danced and ran around, and many picnicked.
