Making Murieta Parkway traffic safer

Yield signMurieta Parkway at Lago Drive now sports instructions to drivers to yield to oncoming traffic. The Rancho Murieta Association added the directions as a safety measure at the North Gate, where incoming traffic onto Lago turns in front of outbound traffic, and up the Parkway, where Lago-bound traffic is allowed to make a left turn in front of outbound Murieta Drive traffic. County Supervisor Sue Frost, who represents Rancho Murieta, stopped by Tuesday night’s RMA meeting to say hello.  After the meeting, she talked with members of Boy Scout Troop 633, who were in the audience. She told the meeting what she has done to set up shop since being elected in November, adding that a survey of 2,500 of her constituents showed public safety and transportation infrastructure are the top concerns.
