Pouring the new boat ramp at Clementia

A Rancho Murieta Association crew works Wednesday afternoon on the concrete slab for the new boat ramp at Lake Clementia. The ramp, 20 by 40 feet, is being done at a community cost of $4,000, including a $500 donation from the Fishing Club. The job required two trucks' worth of concrete. Click photo for larger image. With little fanfare or discussion, the Rancho Murieta Association board of directors Tuesday night unanimously approved a 2017 budget that raises member dues from $132 to $135 a month, a 2.27 percent increase. The board also gave the Women’s Club permission to use non-conforming signs for its blood drive next week and approved a Fishing Club request to build a new boat ramp on Lake Clementia. RMA, CSD boards meet this week

The Rancho Murieta Association and Community Services District boards hold their monthly meetings this week. The RMA meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the RMA Building and the CSD meets at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the CSD Building.

Items for board action on the RMA agenda include approval of the budget and fee schedule for 2017, and appointments to joint Rancho North/RMA compliance and architectural review committees. Read more » about RMA, CSD boards meet this week

Community hears from four RMA candidates

A dozen people turned out Tuesday night for the Rancho Murieta Association's Candidates Night. They heard from four neighbors who are running for two seats on the RMA board. RMA Candidates Night 7 p.m. Tuesday

Candidates for two seats on the Rancho Murieta Association board will answer questions from the Nominating Committee and the public at Candidates Night 7 p.m. Tuesday at the RMA Building.

The candidates are Alexander Bauer, Robert Brown, Greg Mason and Jeff Morehead.

Community meets county supervisor hopefuls

Sue Frost, one of the candidates for county supervisor in our district, was joined by her opponent, Mike Kozlowski, in a candidates' night staged last week by Saving Our Lakes & Open Spaces, the pro-open-space community group.

Clementia entrance road work on Wednesday

Last week the Rancho Murieta Association announced that the entrance road and parking lot  at Lake Clementia would be closed for repairs between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday.
