County Supervisor Sue Frost, who represents Rancho Murieta, stopped by Tuesday night’s RMA meeting to say hello.  After the meeting, she talked with members of Boy Scout Troop 633, who were in the audience. She told the meeting what she has done to set up shop since being elected in November, adding that a survey of 2,500 of her constituents showed public safety and transportation infrastructure are the top concerns. RMA board meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday

The Rancho Murieta Association board of directors holds its monthly meeting 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the RMA Building. Sacramento County Supervisor Sue Frost will make a presentation at the start of the session. Items on the agenda for board action include the status of the bicycle pump track, a letter to townhouse owners regarding landscape adjacent to units, and maintenance equipment purchases. Picking up on an initiative that began at the Community Services District, the Rancho Murieta Association Tuesday night agreed to joint meetings of the two groups. The board also got a report on installation of the community’s fiber system, which is nearing completion. Read more »

The Rancho Murieta Association board of directors meets 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the RMA Building. Items for board action include joint meetings with the Community Services District and a proposal to allow certain two-wheel vehicles. The agenda is attached.

Busy signal? RMA phone is out of order

A message Tuesday afternoon from the Rancho Murieta Association: "RMA's phone service is not working correctly and dialing 354-3500 results in a busy signal.  We are awaiting the repair man.  In the meantime, RMA can be reached by dialing 354-3501.  Sorry for the annoying inconvenience."

CSD continues push to extend its role

In two committee meetings last week, the Community Services District continued a push to broaden its role. At one session, it talked about the Rancho Murieta Association’s need to clean up RMA policy around the variety of homeowner associations that exist – or will soon – in Rancho Murieta. The second committee discussed working more closely with the RMA to get things done for the community’s benefit. Read more »

The Rancho Murieta Association’s board of directors heard a development progress report Tuesday night (including an invitation to help build a community center) and an update on the completion of the community's high-speed fiber network. The board also appointed committee members. Read more »
