As it did a decade ago, Sacramento County is facilitating meetings on Rancho Murieta development and inviting key community players to take part.
The Community Services District has called a special meeting for 5 p.m. Wednesday to appoint a board representative to the sessions, which the CSD says are expected to begin in early June. In addition to a director, the board packet for Wednesday’s special meeting says the CSD is also expected to appoint its general manager.
The packet says the stakeholder groups include the developers, local ranchers, the Rancho Murieta Association and the Saving Our Lakes & Open Spaces (SOLOS) group, which has criticized current development plans. Read more » about County is setting up talks on development
