The holiday celebration kept on (rock and) rolling Saturday night at Lake Clementia Amphitheater with SuperHuey, a tribute to Huey Lewis and the News. The latest in the Entertainment, Theatre & Culture summer concert series, SuperHuey launched the feel-good hits with “The Heart of Rock & Roll” and never looked back. With audience participation part of the show, the crowd kept beach balls afloat and sang along as the seven-member group performed “The Power of Love,” “If This is It” and other hits of the 1980s and early ‘90s. The evening began with a check presentation to Shannon Westerberg, below left, the winner of this year’s $2,000 ETC scholarship. The oversized check was presented by Realtor Karen Hoberg, center, of Rancho Murieta Homes & Land, ETC title sponsor, with last year’s recipient, Chloé Carillo, assisting. The winning essay appeared in the concert program.
