With hors d'oeuvres, wine, raffles and mingling, and Darin Sexton and Highway 49 in charge of music, Entertainment, Theatre & Culture kicked off its 2014 season with a party Sunday afternoon at the Country Club. Casino Corral, the annual gathering for good food and good gaming, takes place from 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the Murieta Equestrian Center.  It's presented by the Rancho Murieta Optimist and Kiwanis clubs and benefits area youth activities and community programs.

This year's event includes a prime rib and chicken dinner, cocktails, live music, dancing, casino gaming and a Texas Hold 'em Tournament.  It's $45 per person, $320 for a table of eight and $50 at the door.  You can buy tickets at Rancho Murieta Business Center, in Murieta Plaza, and get more information at casinocorral.org or (916) 230-0262. SuperHuey -- a tribute to Huey Lewis and the News -- is ETC's July 5 concert offering, followed on Aug. 2 by Long Time, a tribute to Boston and other rock greats.

[Corrected March 30] If you were among the ETC fans disappointed when the SuperHuey show got rained out last September, well, the sun is shining again.  The band -- a tribute to Huey Lewis and the News -- will perform at Lake Clementia Amphitheater on July 5, ETC's second show of the 2014 season.  They'll be followed on Aug. 2 by Long Time, a tribute to Boston and other guitar rock greats. The annual Blues & Brews festival was celebrated at Lake Clementia Amphitheater Saturday evening with beer and wine tasting, local home brewers, balloon raffles, and music by Darin Sexton & Highway 49. The annual Blues & Brews festival takes place Saturday at Lake Clementia Amphitheater from 6 to 10 p.m. This year's event features beer and wine tasting, local home brewers, music by Darin Sexton & Highway 49 with special guest Stephany Rae, and a balloon raffle.

Tickets are $30 in advance at Plaza Foods, the Local Bean and Rancho Murieta Biz Center in the Plaza, and $35 at the gate. A meal is included in the ticket price. Admission is limited to age 21 and over.

If you're holding tickets for the SuperHuey concert that was washed out on Saturday, Entertainment, Theatre & Culture has announced how to get a refund.

The group announced Monday that ticketholders can get an immediate refund Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Local Bean in Murieta Plaza.
