Music Mike, the modern Pied Piper, returns to Lake Clementia Amphitheater Sunday, Sept. 16, courtesy of the Kiwanis Club. Music Mike engages and entertains kids of all ages, and he's especially popular with ages 2 through 10.

Holding ETC tickets? Here's how to get a refund

Entertainment, Theatre & Culture announced plans to give refunds to those holding tickets for Saturday’s Seals & Seals concert, which has been canceled.

On Monday, ETC said it was canceling the show, the final concert in its 2007 series, due to the illness of singer Dan Seals, who is battling lymphoma.

In a statement Wednesday night, Debbie Pishek, ETC president, said the group discussed the possibility of staging a replacement concert to close the season but decided it wasn’t possible.

Jazz Supper Club Aug. 18

The Country Club Jazz Supper Club features the Chaya Jazz Trio 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, for the entertainment of members and their guests. Singer/songwriter Chaya Pitcher's sultry vocals led to the creation of trio with husband Rick Pitcher on keyboard and Albert Perez on guitar. Craig Chaquico lights up Clementia Amphitheater

Guitarist Craig Chaquico and six virtuoso musicians came to Lake Clementia Amphitheater Saturday night and made it their own with an inspired performance of the music Chaquico made famous as a member of the mega group Jefferson Starship and as a solo performer. It's a Murieta July 4 -- heat, fun and red, white and blue

Rancho Murieta's 2007 Fourth of July celebration had all the traditional elements – a red, white and blue parade led by fire trucks, an afternoon at the lake, and fireworks filling the night sky to end the day. Did we mention the temperature topped 100?

In the early morning cool, while the Kiwanis Club served up pancakes at the Gazebo, runners in the 25th annual Fun Run headed down Lago Drive to begin the 5K run. Once again Kyle Fujitsubo emerged as the fastest person in Rancho Murieta, breaking the 16:30 record he set last year with a time of 15:43.

Hundreds of people turned out at Lake Clementia Amphitheater Saturday for a concert that began in a breezy afternoon and continued into the evening. Friends of the Perez family organized the fundraiser for resident Alberto Perez, who was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and is unable to work while undergoing dialysis and seeking a kidney donor.
