Rancho Murieta General Manager Rod Hart has been a part of Rancho Murieta almost since the beginning. He’s retiring on May 1, after 45 years. Many people know him and have been served by his can-do attitude. In this video, he shares some stories and a bit of history, along with the people who helped get our community going with his assistance.
- On Friday, May 1, everyone is invited to a community lunch honoring Rod that takes place at Stonehouse Park from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. A plaque will be unveiled.
- Pamela Haines, a Kiwanis member, is honoring his retiring on May 1. “May Day is Lei Day” on Hawaii, and Haines will, from 9 to 11 a.m., offer tutorials and supplies to make leis for anyone who’s interested. It will be held at a bench on Lake Calero, near where the Boy Scouts retire flags on Memorial Day.
