Nine-hole tournament Aug. 11

Growth Oriented Adapted Learning Skills (GOALS), a non–profit organization designed to assist the developmentally disabled population, holds its second annual nine-hole scramble golf tournament Saturday, Aug. 11, at Emerald Lakes Golf Course, 10651 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove.

Bridge traffic faces disruption

The Community Services District says access to the pedestrian bridge from the levee road on the South may be disrupted Friday, Aug. 3, and Monday, Aug. 6, due to construction taking place near the third tee on the South Course.

Area around new bridge hit by graffiti

The north end of the new wooden pedestrian bridge was hit by vandals overnight, Security Chief Greg Remson told the Community Services District Security Committee Tuesday.
