New Joint Security Committee holds first meeting

The first meeting of the newly reconstituted Joint Security Committee takes place Monday at 10 a.m. at the Community Services District Building. The CSD and the Rancho Murieta Association will be represented by directors who were appointed to the committee. Countdown to July 4 has begun

The netting for the fireworks safe zone was in place, blankets were filling the lawn and flags were waving over Murieta Parkway Thursday morning as a steady stream of residents headed to the Rancho Murieta Association Building to pick up vehicle passes for their July 4 visitors. CSD approves 18.8% rate increase

[Updated June 23] The Rancho Murieta Community Services District board of directors approved a 2008-2009 budget and rate increases for water, sewer, security, drainage and garbage collection Monday night that will increase the average monthly residential bill 18.8 percent. RMA, CSD boards meet this week

The Rancho Murieta Association and Community Services District boards hold their monthly meetings this week. Included in the agendas are the swearing in of a new director for the RMA and a hearing on proposed new rates for the CSD.

The Rancho Murieta Association board of directors meets 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the RMA Building.
