[Updated May 21] The Rancho Murieta Association board of directors voted unanimously Tuesday night to try a month's experiment tending the front lawns of 10 homes that are being foreclosed. RMA, CSD meet Tuesday, Wednesday

The monthly meetings of the Rancho Murieta Association board of directors and the Community Services District board of directors take place Tuesday and Wednesday.

  • The RMA board meets 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the RMA Building. The maintainence of properties that are in foreclosure appears twice on the agenda and is a board action item. The agenda is here.
  • The CSD board meets 5 p.m. Wednesday at the CSD Building. The CSD will receive an update about Security's authority from CSD legal counsel, take action on change orders for the Rio Oso water tank rehabilitation, and receive the Water Department annual report. The agenda is here.

CSD trying to reduce 20% rate hike, but there's little success so far

CSD seeks members for governance committee

The Community Services District is now recruiting members for its ad hoc Governance Advisory Committee. The purpose of the committee is to review and evaluate governmental and non-governmental organizations serving the community and provide recommendations to the CSD regarding changes, and propose how the changes should be accomplished.

The CSD board intends to fill the vacancies by appointment at its May 21 meeting. Residents who are interested in joining the committee are asked to submit a written letter of interest to the district at its mailing address, P.O. Box 1050, Rancho Murieta, CA 95683.
