The Community Services District says initial staging of equipment and materials for the community's water treatment plant expansion will begin this week.  Part of the dirt road around Lake Chesbro will be closed for 24 hours starting Friday.

A CSD announcement said they will try to control dust with a natural product, lignosulfate, that will be applied Friday morning on the dirt road at the northwest end of Chesbro, near the hilltop parking area that adjoins Puerto Drive and Camino Del Lago.  The substance needs 12 to 24 hours to dry, so a stretch of the road will be closed.

An alternate route will be open instead, as can be seen in the announcement, which appears as a linked attachment at the end of this story.  The announcement includes a map.

If you have questions, call the CSD's Paul Siebensohn at 354-3700.
