The Community Services District is holding a workshop on conservation pricing 7 p.m. Tuesday at the CSD Building. The agenda is here.

Conservation pricing uses higher rates to promote water conservation. The board is considering incorporating conservation rates in the 2008-2009 budget, which is now being developed.

The CSD board began investigating a price structure that would promote water conservation last year in a series of workshops conducted by a consultant.
